Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help me but if you can TYIA
I just returned from Tenerife and our flight was cancelled on Fri 1st June 2018. We were took back to a hotel overnight and told our flight would depart Sat 02nd June 2018. Arrived at the airport the next day, handed over our passports and were told there no more seats. This was approx. 12:15 , after waiting about an hour was told we had been booked on a flight later that evening at 21:45 to Stansted instead of Gatwick. We eventually took of at 22:55 and arrived at Stansted at 02:55 and was taken back to Gatwick where our car was parked. I have just received a BACS payment from the Operator saying they have paid £700.00 into our account. I have just phoned them and they say that amount is for the cancelled flight, being bumped off the next days flight and also is for the extra 2 days car parking we incurred. Is this correct?? I would have thought we would have received an amount for the cancelled flight and also the same amount for being bumped off the next days flights as well? If anyone can advise I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Two different compensatable events so (potentially) two different claims.0

That's exactly what I thought but they are telling me no its all under the one compensation they have paid!!??? I understand that they should pay 2 lots as one was cancelled and the other one were told there were no enough seats and they would not let us fly and we had to come back on a Jet2 flight!!0

Welcome. This should be on the thread dedicated airline concerned, not your own, new personal thread as this makes navigation very difficult.
I agree with jps.
1. Flight cancelled. 1 compensation due E400.
2. Denied boarding on 2nd flight, compensation due E400.
These are 2 separate events. If you flight had been cancelled aor delayed twice then only one compensation probably due. What do Botts say on the online checker? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
