So BA didn’t need to contact me despite having taken all of my details direct after I got in touch with them direct to book my seats immediately after flight booking. I definitely didn’t receive any communication from either Opodo or BA.
To be honest the bit I’m most shocked about is that an airline can totally change its flights -ie no longer flying to Birmingham and changing all of their flights from Ibiza to Manchester despite having sold all of those seats to Birmingham. I know I shouldn’t be surprised anymore but it seems so wrong!0 -
On the plus side I know to book direct in the future!0

If you updated your contact details in your booking on BA's website there's really no reason why BA shouldn't have notified you directly of the change. You may have a claim for compensation under EU regulations.0
