Can anyone recommend where to get the cheapest flights to Cyprus please? This isn't until next year so am I likely to get a better deal booing now or waiting until last minute?

start on the wikipedia page for the airport in Cyprus you want to fly to and see who operates the route, then you can check when the airline(s) release their seats for your time period and also how much competition there is on the route
If there are 6 flights a day you can likely hold off for a deal but if there is one flight a week you may be best booking when released (as long as you are happy with the price)0 -
If you are flying to Paphos, avoid Wednesdays.0

Which Airport?
I presume you mean The Republic of Cyprus, not the Turkish Northern Cyprus (?)
Paphos is in the west and Larnaca is in the east.
Where in the UK (?) do you wish to depart from?

Find someone who can get you indulgence flights on the Brize Norton to Akrotiri route. £25 each way normally!
Failing that I've always found flights to Cyprus to be relatively expensive due to a lack of competition.0 -

It's not just the lack of competition, it's also the distance. 2000 miles and five hours on the plane.

Don't expect Cyprus to be particularly good vfm either.....joining the EU took care of that.

There is no Limassol airportPref Paphos but could live with Larnaca or Limmassol if t was cheaper
I don't think Larnaca would be cheaper than Paphos, especially once you have factored in the transfer cost.

If you hire a car, Limassol is within easy reach of Paphos airport straight down the motorway. It will probably also work out cheaper than a taxi.0
