Trouble with my neighbours

However it happens to be right next to where they keep their bins so it!!!8217;s easy for them to just toss things into my bins from their side of the fence. I dont have side access and so would have to wheel them through the house. As I dont want to do that I think all I can do is either put up with it or talk to her/them.
Thanks all.0 -
Ooh that is a good idea, I will try to see if it is possible.0

Wow, they sound like terrible neighbours. Not because of noise or threatening behaviour, but because they are taking the pish.
What she did (with the parking space) is using your nice, polite neighbourly nature against you, and by using your bin for their rubbish, they are now starting to walk all over you. You need to stand up for your self.
Have you ever seen her leave her sleeping kids in her car? I'm willing to guess that her reason is complete tosh and she just doesn't want you using "their" space.
Personally I would just take their rubbish out of my bin and place it in or on top of their bin. It may be enough of a message that they need to sort their attitude out. If they continue trying to use your bin, you should go back to parking in the space again. Small messages to show that you are not a pushover.0 -
If there is other places to park..............then its not a problem. If not then you park where you have to and that's that.
I would explain about the bins, then return the rubbish or use a lock.0 -

I have actually. I think it is the only time she gets any peace. She has three kids around 5 or under and seems pretty stressed most of the time.
I think I’ll let the parking issue slide and try to park somewhere else but if she keeps filling our bin up I think I’ll have to have a word. A lock is perhaps too passive aggressive? I don’t mind one bag but filling it to the point where there’s not enough room for our rubbish is too much!0 -

How is it ok for her to be (a) peering over the fence at YOUR bins (so she should not even be aware of any locks) and (b) seeing it as her right to fill YOUR bins?
While I was at it, I'd also be putting in a call to social services if she's leaving her under 5s alone in the car - bloody outrageous!
I'm clearly not as nice as you!0 -

She was the one that had the children - THREE children = her responsibility, not yours.
Keep parking where it feels most appropriate for you to park and if she doesnt like it tough. What is a mother doing having her children sleeping in a car outside her home anyway?
Passive agressive to have a lock on one's own bin? What?!!! You are joking arent you? Your bin = your decision and nothing passive aggressive about it for goodness sake!! Personally, I wouldnt have got as far as needing to lock my bin in the first place. There was a couple of times where I found an immediate neighbour had put their stuff in my bin when I was back in my last house. I just threw back it over their garden wall. They soon stopped.
Time to grow a backbone I think - before she walks over you any more.
I've had to throw a bit of rubbish back over a garden wall of one of my nfh here - had to happen a few times - but I think they've got the message now and have stopped that malarkey.0
