Halifax help-to-buy ISA transfer options

As many are probably aware, Halfiax help to buy ISA interest rate is going down from 3.5% to 2.25% from the 7th of August. They give an option to transfer by the date, but I'm not sure what better options there are at the moment. I remember Halifax as being one of the top ones when I started saving. Any ideas/successful transfers so far? Thank you

It's all pretty grim - still there are worse savings accounts. The bonus will cheer you up eventually.

Yep, not happy at all. Maybe it's time "cash out" and finally get that mortgage!0

If you are in a position to buy a property that you would like to live in why not? We don't have a crystal ball to time the market but generally the sooner you start on your first property the sooner you build up enough equity to upgrade, etc. You can still fix in at some pretty attractive rates to give you certainty while the mortgage balance is high.
