Hello,
I’m after some advice. I’m due to come into some money early next year and want to put it towards buying my first home.
Should I put it into a LISA or HTB ISA? I know I have to have the LISA open for 12 month before I can gain the govement £1000 bouns. Which I don’t think will be a problem as I want to open the account now start saving then put some of the money into it once I have it.
I will also be doing the same for my partner as she has never purchased a house befor either (I am aware of the risk that she could run away with my money).

The Skipton cash LISA would enable you both to build up bigger account balances for larger 25% bonuses than the HTB ISAs so provided you are OK with the 12 month restriction the additional bonus should outweigh the reduced interest rate.0

Open up a Skipton LISA as soon as possible and deposit £1, that will at least start the 12month minimum countdown."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
