Mine is Crashy. Because he ventures out of his echo chamber to be ridiculed on here. You have to admire him for that at least."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0

I'm not sure I do. Which is more ridiculous: to sit in an echo chamber ignorant of the world, or to be repeatedly exposed to the truth and yet consistently, consciously reject it?
Is a modern day flat earther not more absurd than a 15th century Catholic geocentrist?0 -

The guys in the echo chamber know they're wrong. That's why they never venture out. And cast out anyone with dissenting views."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
Apparently there is a word for it: "perseveration".0

But is that the definition of a troll? Are they turning up on here and baiting people?
Unless of course they get their financial decisions so wrong that they end up living under a bridge. It must be hard to be in your 40s and 50s and realise that the chance to secure your own home has passed you by and will never return.
I feel sad for them. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

However not only did his theory not stand up in hindsight neither did the practice because he sold his SE house to rent in 2012.
He posted under the pseudonym FInancialPlanner and was actually a Financial Planner in real life, which must be a horrific fact for his clients ever to discover.0 -

I certainly dectect a lot of sadness behind the pomp and bravado of the crash troll postings.0 -

I think that was someone else but they both self-published inane books, which may be why you have them mixed up.
One was a comprehensive school teacher who wibbled on about stuff of which he had no comprehension - Basel III, MIFID II, etc - but in a way that sounded good to his equally ignorant fanbois. The other was all about achieving what he called "financial independence" and claimed to have done so, but when you pick it apart he was on £100k a year and had saved enough to have an income of about £25k from his savings. I would call that abject workshy poverty, personally, rather than financial independence.
The school teacher's ranty shouty "book" was unreadably bad - apart from anything else he had obviously spliced it together from several different Word documents, so that the page numbers stopped somewhere in the middle.0 -

A crash troll is slightly different - having only one opinion on one subject:
