    Being on the car when you bought it is no excuse. It is dangerous to use snow tyres just on the front (or rear), using a single snow tyre is equally dangerous.

    We couldn't care less, but if you're involved in an accident the police and your insurance company assessor might take a dim view of the tyre combination.

    of course a driver would notice it when the regularly checked their tyre pressures.

    If it was dangerous then it would have been listed as dangerous on the MOT not an advisory. Also the 2 previous MOT tests never picked it up either, one of them being the same garage and MOT tester who put it down as an advisory this year.

    Tyre pressures are checked every week to 10 days when I visit the fuel station.
