Stop giving "Equivalent Price" in Broadband Deals

Options
I don't like the way this site displays the "equivalent price" for broadband deals.

It is misleading.

For example:
EE, avg 36Mb, equiv £20.45/mth

This monthly fee is based upon claiming back a £100 reward from EE and then seeing this as a deduction from your monthly cost. While this is technically true in terms of what you pay out over the term of the contract, it is misleading because the reduced "equivalent" amount is not the amount leaving your account every month. I don't want to have to go through claiming things back. It's a hassle and inconvenience and certainly doesn't fit with my budgeting methodology. You're also playing into the hands of the companies by trying to downplay the actual monthly cost. You need to stop doing it.

I like to know the monthly cost. Pure and simple. If there are additional bonuses, such as a £100 claim back deal then fine, let me know about it. But do not advertise it as a reduction on the monthly cost. It is not a reduction on the monthly cost. The money going out of my account is the full amount, not the reduced rate.
