Claiming for late departure

Just wondering is it best to rely of the Airlines system or go through one of the many sites that are available online ?.. & any particular site that some would suggest ?? Cheers ..

compensation is based on late arrival (it is very possible that flights make up time enroute)
Depending on the airline, some make claiming easier than others
If there is a valid claim (not all delays are valid for compensation) then there should be no need to give 30% of the compensation to a firm0 -
To give an Update, went through the mse link to "resolver" , took about 5 mins or less to do, bottom line is got an email off the Airline on the same day saying i was entitled to 250 euro cash or 350 euro against future flights ..0
