Can anyone tell me, can I reheat cooked chicken. We had roast yesterday and usually use up leftovers following day for salad or sandwiches, but I had forgotten I have got some filo pastry that also needs using today, along with some mozzarella cheese, so I though about making a pie of some kind but not sure if I can reheat the chicken. Normally, I would just cook chicken portions and use whilst still hot. The leftover meat has been in the fridge since yesterday though.
I reheat cold chicken next day when I want a really lazy meal.
Use condensed soup with the chicken reheated in the m/wave and serve it with rice or pasta.
Or I have used chicken in similar way with a shortcrust pastry top so I should think you could use filo instead.0 -
I reheat chicken for baby both from cold and frozen ie if we have roast Sunday night he has It chopped and mixed for tea Monday . Best advise is if you reheat it make sure it is red hot all way thru not just warmed

PM - hope you are OK - what happened?
OK, so looks like I can heat the chicken so long as I make sure it is really hot, which I would do anyway, can't stand anything that doesn't burn my mouth :rotfl::rotfl:, well so long as not spicy hot, don't do spicy food, I even have to drink a cup of tea as soon as the water is poured from the kettle.0
