    SnD we have the worst oven ever so kept it simple with a victoria sponge.Its cooling atm.

    Sounds nice PM and you are right cooling cakes smell lush. Homemade birthday cakes are always so much nicer than bought make sure you post a pic up so we can see the final cakey :). Next one I've got to do is little guys 2nd birthday at month end I'm thinking space and rockets ;) kids cakes can be so cool lol

    Just been out for lunch with DH to a new local tea rooms. We both had panini followed by cakes. Not very often I enjoy cake out as I make so much at home and am always disappointed but this was a tea shop that we will definitely be returning to.
