SnD we have the worst oven ever so kept it simple with a victoria sponge.Its cooling atm.

Sounds nice PM and you are right cooling cakes smell lush. Homemade birthday cakes are always so much nicer than bought make sure you post a pic up so we can see the final cakey . Next one I've got to do is little guys 2nd birthday at month end I'm thinking space and rockets kids cakes can be so cool lol

Just been out for lunch with DH to a new local tea rooms. We both had panini followed by cakes. Not very often I enjoy cake out as I make so much at home and am always disappointed but this was a tea shop that we will definitely be returning to.
