could you stay in a nice hotel around there for a couple of days? maybe during the week as would be cheaper or what about lastminute.com?

When we lost the birds dh said we could go away for a little break, i tried suggesting it to him this evening he said we will at some point but i know what hes like.

I love the countryside and animlas, something we never get to see.Funny thing was the morning of my op i had a couple of sneaky cigs and being right out of london it was freezing but very fresh, very cold but more peaceful. Furthest I have been in a long time :(

    xx

start looking at lastminute.com and maybe get a few brochures from travel agents for hotels in the lakes or something.... leave them lying around....

you would enjoy the lake district, beautiful place, very peaceful.

look for somewhere local then, but countryside, where you don't need to travel too much.

why in cop shows when they have armed police, ie riot gear, etc or swat team, they are always abehind the cops with no safety gear, no protective gear, no vest, etc?

I mean why is the cop with no protection always.first?
