Off to catch up now:)0 -
I thought I'd mucked up an Andrex one as I bought 2 x 4 packs from S's as it worked out cheaper than 1 x 9 pack, then saw offer was for 9 pack but I scanned my receipt anyway and they gave me the £1 - result

Not started on this snap & scan thingy yet as I've got a blackberry:(
I too prefer TCB Jeferey - ever since went through Quidco and they didn't pay out. TWICE:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Grrr. And it was quite a large amount both times which made it even worse :mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -

Was disappointed thou as Nephew (the one who got married in Las Vegas in Dec) had his wedding reception last Saturday, which I was really looking forward to so could meet up with family & friends but I wasn't well enough to go in the end:(
Morning AH - you had the dreaded lurgy? If so, you have all my sympathies. Its a really horrible nasty bug - when I had it never thought I was going to get rid of it. It really takes it out of you - you need a nice break to help you get over it :cool:0 -

Doc sorry to read abt taking away DS privileges :(but sometimes tough love is the best and they thank us for it, ok maybe some years later:D:rotfl:, but we do need to make them learn and not good to just keep providing as they will just keep taking and expecting instead of standing on their own two feet.

Will just have to try and keep an eye out for cheap flights and a deal on hotel where the wedding reception going to be or could end up being expensive:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I love Ireland - what part will the wedding be held in, AH? Went a couple of years ago with OH and some friends and toured all over the South and had a brilliant time. Stunning scenery and the roads were soo quiet.:)
You don't seem to see many deals now for cheap flights but will let you know if I do happen to see any. We went Ryanair for £1.99 each:rotfl::D:rotfl:with a special offer that I was lucky enough to get. Think they've got a lot more expensive since then though:p- there was even talk of them charging to use the toilet:eek::eek::eek: but don't know if this has actually happened.

Thank goodness it wasn't the dreaded lurgy a friend was due to visit Fri evening but had to cancel cos of that:(.
It is an old health condition that has flared up just been a bit worse the last couple of weeks, got referred to specialist so now tests being done so hopefully may get some answers.
I agree sometimes you need a break after illness but even some nice sunshine to cheer everyone up would be nice atm with a lot of warmth added in :rotfl:0 -

Wedding is going to be in Sligo. I love a good Irish wedding we went to DH cousins a couple of years back, best wedding we had been to for ages and it is his sisters daughter getting married this time. So can't wait:j.
Had a quick search yesterday for flight prices they were megga way more than we have ever paid so will definately be keeping an eye out in MSE's weekly email. Would be easier to get flight to Sligo but not sure there are as many flights probs better deals to Dublin but then it is added cost to get from Dublin to Sligo:(
Yes we have done many of them cheap flights in the past,:j they are good but better if you just have hand luggage as they do so many add on's which push the quoted price much higher with Ryanair.0 -

see I agree with you about the tidying. I have started trying to be tidier, and I am struggling to find stuff, whereas if it was messy I would know where it is!
he is in the higher class for his read, write, inc. I didn't realise I thought they all went to the same class, but he was telling me he had a different teacher now and was in a different room. then realised that he is in a higher group because of his reading. his writing is coming along too, and i have to teach him 4 letter words to spell outwood, bell, rude, etc. :rotfl:
DS loves computer games, he discovered pet rescue or something on my fb account the other day and was most upset to find he had no lives left. I didn't show him how to play the game he was just playing so don't be surprised if you were getting requests and stuff...:rotfl:
However, he would rather be out than sat in the house on the computer all day. And he does love reading. He gets a new book every time he finishes the old one, so he makes sure he reads his book daily so he gets a new one, and then one library book a week from school, plus the 5/6 he gets out of our local library  bit like his mum.... geek.....
You are doing a brill job in encouraging DS :T:A.
I was so lucky DS1 had a great interest in books and was always reading and still does now which greatly improves his general knowledge and helped put him in top groups at school when he was 8 they said his reading ability was of a 14 year old. We used to laugh if we went out for the day his nose would always be buried in a book this was before the days of kindels:D:rotfl: he wouldn't even stop to get off trains would just carry on walking with book in hand still reading no idea how he managed to do this without banging into people but he did. A couple of years ago his GF was visiting so we managed to drag him to the Zoo under duress he not really an out door type:D:rotfl: so the compromise was he went but he took a book he read all the way around .
He does also thou spend his remaining time on PC or drawing0
