blooming SP have put my DD up because we had to use heating more as it been so cold lately! grrrr  and it is not by a litle bit either!

this is what I keep trying to explain to DH when he calls me tight for not putting heating on and saying he likes to come home to a hot house and wants to walk around in a tshirt and shorts. It is all well and good for him but it is ME who has to pay for his privilege! And I can't afford that big a dd on top of everything else!

time to shop around again me thinks.

Are you going to shop around for new energy company or new DH lol

My hubby's the same he will sit in a t shirt and say brrr getting but cold and whack up the heating when I've been in all day wearing jumper. Makes you wonder why we bother sometimes and we are oil heating out here so no nice d/d just a £700 lump sum to find each time the tank gets light.

Thanks ts. Was thinking about your cats earlier and them enjoying the sun. House is to quiet without the birds.

I can imagine - although birds are relatively small they can make a lot of noise lol

The cats really enjoyed the sun while it lasted - it disappeared mid afternoon and now they are hugging the radiators :):)

    Its not a bad life.

Ts my birdies were so load as well, they used to sing all the time. I say sing my cockatiel used to screech but the budgie loved a sing in the sun.

I don't blame your cats cuddled up to the rad does get quite nippy in the evenings.

Sorry to hear AH poorly too. As you say so many people had this horrible lurgy.

Absolutely shattered tonight. Sitting here in my jammies, had a bath and ready for bed. Been gardening at mum's with OH all day. Reckon I might be struggling to move tomorrow. Still need to make a start on our own garden.

PM - glad you are starting to feel better.
Aesop - ouch re your DD. Hope you find something cheaper soon.
Jeferey - bet your DD is looking forward to her prom especially now she has her outfit.
