    Good Morning everyone:)

Trying to get a quick catch up before Andy Murry's final at 8.30

Well rain has come and washed all the snow away now here. Helped by rise in temp now 9 on car grid this morning Really high winds most of the night. Saw the news quickly yesterday morning of the motorway and all the stranded drivers they said it all came down in 2 hours:eek:. Of course now the warnings are of flooding with the rain on top of the melted snow and saturated ground. OOHH ROLL ON SUMMER.

:j:j:j:beer: Thanks for tip IS about your Argos store. We were supposed to be going to Milton Keynes Cineworld yesterday with DS's but as soon as we left traffic came to a standstill and they would have never made it in time to see film so turned around decided to go to the Luton one instead. So while we were waiting for them we went and had the Toby Carvery 2 for £10 deal and had a look in Argos as was hoping to get some Nando's GC. Unfortunately still unable to get hold of Nandos and they called the other Argos also :(. No sign up about changes to promo in your store IS or limits 2 per customer:j unlike in our teensy weeny argos. After a tip off from Argos SA on Fri when sorting my GC she mentioned when you renew your Unlimited again you now get upgraded to a black card which gives you 25% of concessions and no extra fees for 3D films:j. Well as DS3's is due to expire think June time I thought I might as well buy more GC so then can renew his for £135 instead of £180. Didn't mess around gettting the Argos cards from T's as too much hassle. The Young SA was very friendly she was totally unaware of promo but went and got a copy of leaflet put £160 through for £120:j. Also went back in around 5pm got £40 of starbucks as DS now buys one of these at KC train station before catching his train on Sundays and they are expensive  need to check if they have some kind of stamp scheme DS keeps forgetting to ask:eek:.

The only dissapointing thing was going to do the M&S meal deal with coupon at MK but the Luton one didn't have self scan so put them back and left it. So not sure whether going to get the chance now to go before meal deal finishes.

It's a good job my friend cooked me this lovely meal for my tea last night. M&S meat and proper home made roast potatoes and yorkshire pud (no crappy Auntie bessie:p:p).

I finally arrived home at 2.15 am. A journey that should have taken no more than an hour took me 3 1/4 hours. I think the gritters were all on a break:( After that journey, even I am tired and think I will get plenty of kip

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Now I understand your txt you were caught up in it poor you:(:(:( thank goodness you had something to eat before. Hope you had something to keep you warm, suppose a reminder to keep a blanket and maybe flask of warm drink like a mini survival kit if travelling any distance atm.

Most of our snow has gone which is amazing as it was so deep after Fridays nights big snow. It took my ds 3 hours to clear our drive yesterday morning. May as well not have bothered as we have had severe rains overnight which has washed most of the snow away anyway.

No we have a flooded back garden
