ID mobile New deal

Hi all
I have 2 sim only deals for my kids with ID mobile that is £5 per month for 250 mins 5000 txt and 2.25gb data

Now, being kids the only part of that they use is the data, and once the 2.25 is used it costs me another £5 for about 500mb!
This is the lowest I can cap it at(I want to cap at zero as the additional £5 is a rip off but can’t be set to less than £5)

I’ve just found ID has a 10gb data sim only for £10

Question is can I switch to this deal without leaving id? I read their customer service is terrrible, or are their any better deals. Don’t wish to pay any more than £10pm

Edit to the above, data excess charge is £10.24 for every 100mb so I!!!8217;m charged the capped £5 for 50mb on both kids phones! What a rip off

You can change to any tariff on their app or via their website.

Most phones have settings to calculate and control data usage.

You could set their maximum mobile data usage to just under 10GB and set this to match iDs billing cycle e.g 15th - 14th each month.

Even if they hit the 10GB limit on the phone, data will still work via any free Wi-Fi available until it resets.
