Shop owners beware - if you are sending your shop items to online auction or fixed format via your selling manager you are being charged full price. You have to end the items first and then relist. Which I don't get at all as the item 'ends' when you send it anyway. This is great if you have more than one item for sale as you then end up paying to relist your items again for 30 days or whatever and then having to pay to get one onto auction/fixed price!!

Shop sellers being penalised again! There's a surprise!!

    Arghhhh..

Listed an expensive item on one of my ids on the cheap listing day. It seemed a little expensive to list when I got the item cost window but it still looked cheap enough to be half price (it's been a while since i have had a very high start price). I've got a fair few watchers but no bids and someone has just asked me about postage. I got a bit cross knowing that everything was shown on the listing, but luckily I went to the auction to check before replying.

Guess what, my postage details have disappeared and worse of all the payment methods, including paypal have all disappeared as well. So I paid full price in the end to put up an expensive item with no paypal and no postage...I might as well have written 'scam' right across the page.

I've corrected it all now but wonder if I am too late to get a bid. I know the details were all there when I completed turbo lister as I fiddled around with weights and postage options before completing turbolister. I also have my turbolister set up to automatically list paypal as my favoured payment option yet for a whole batch of items all this just disappeared.

just as a follow up..on that same id I had listed some of my usual stock on a 3 day listing thinking that I could sell using the cheap listing day but before the main bulk of listings finished on day 10 and day 7. Was a little surprised when nothing at all sold but just assumed the bubble had burst on those particular lines. Just decided to check my unsold listings and yep, the paypal option had been completely removed so it was obvious why a normally fast selling line didn't shift at all.

I suppose all I can do now is reload turbolister and see if that corrects any fault I may have. Then I can relist adding paypal and hopefully my stuff will sell as it normally does. It has just reinforced my view though that my stuff does not sell at all when I remove the paypal option..so I suppose the exercise was not entirely futile. I am a bit peeved though.
