We are in exactly the position of OP with Crocodile
Was a conclusion reached with them
You may never know as the OP hasn’t logged in for months.

It would be good if OP returned with a conclusion

    Must have missed this one.

But enjoyed the image of an Inflatable Armadillo buying a Crocodile Veranda.

We find ourselves in this exact situation
No survey but told unable to cancel
Did the OP resolve with Crocodile

Despite my reservations about launching a claim that could potentially be outside the "small claim" arena I think sending an LBA might be an idea.

Some companies would wish to avoid court and negotiate. It's a low risk step forward.

It would be nice if the op updated us though.

OP hasn't posted back but regardless I think the T&C's are unfair so unenforceable.

The contract may be signed but as no survey has started then the service should have a cancellation period of 14 days.

I may see their point if after you signed they went to work straight away with you waiving your rights due to work commencing but none of this has happened.

I don't think this contract would hold up in court as to me it's a blatant attempt to disregard consumer rights.

    He's probably enjoying his veranda.

The bit I'm more interested in is the conversation he and his wife had after she told him she'd just signed a contract for a £12,000 veranda while he was out :rotfl: (post #1)

He said it was 'a bit rash' of her, I bet he didn't use those words while they were 'discussing' it

Click on there username and a drop down appears. Personally I have email notifications turned off. The op may not have selected that option.
