gunsandbanjos - had a little look on google and from what I can see most councils class night time as 2300-0700 - bet they'd change that definition if it was happening next door to them!
Welcome littlemisssaver :hello: - with pigpen and lil_me keeping us flying a bit every day then hopefully you shouldn't need a big blitz at the weekend - but go carefully til you're fully recovered
Wicked pumpkins everyone - well impressedI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
No flying in this house today - I have just woken up - went back to sleep at 10.30 - god I felt pants. Must have been bad - DH came back from work and took my parcels out for me!!! So all I need to do is summon the energy to walk down and pick up DS from school - the only problem with walking DOWN is that to get back to the house you have to come back UP!!!!!!!!!!! Never mind perhaps DS will carry me??????(not a chance he is 4 1/2!!!!)
All Im doing today is going to be cooking tea, washing my hair and going to our first parents evening for a 10 minute 'chat' about DS - why do I feel like Im back at school and waiting for my report???
Anyways, got to go - catch you later. LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Thanks for taking the time to do that likklegibbon:TThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Oh some people!
Went to get my Dad to take him to his Hospital app. His street is mad right now, the one place where i could have parked, someone decided to take up the whole space (there was space for two till he moved back) He was parking while I was indicating to get in behind him.
THEN! (I admit, i did drive further up like an idiot) when I parked a guy said I 'drove right by his car'. I gave him a look and said well did I hit it? meaning, no I hadn't, he said yes! Had a look, I didn't see any damage on either car, and they are both filthy and wet so it would have stood out.
Got my Dad and he didn't say anything else, will see if he sends the police to me. I honestly don't think I hit it, and there was not a mark on mine or his. Git.
Kids have had weetabix, its that kinda night.
likklegibbon aw what a nice neighbor!
LMS welcome! Hope you recover soon, baby steps as tehy say, you don't want to over do it!0 -
If you had hit his car (a) you would have noticed, and (b) he should have said he wanted details etc, he was obviously trying it on, what a git!!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hi everyone,
I hardly seem to have got anything done this week! Well, nothing that I can cross off a list anyway! Worked Tuesday and this morning, did the shopping yesterday, and visited my mum in the afternoon - she was better than I have seen her for weeks, but I'm not going to get excited about that, as it is still so up and down!
Thrilling Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
[strike]Check fire alarms are working
Remove and wash bed linen[/strike].
Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
[strike]Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen.. do you need that winter duvet yet?
15 minutes floordrobe clearance[/strike]
Level 3
[strike]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
[/strike]Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed - nothing left to throw away from my clothes pile...
[strike]Clear a hotspot., or spend 15 minutes clearing one[/strike].
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more- 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
- Put away those summer clothes from someones cupboard and get out the winter woollies.. don’t store anything that is past its best! Make a list of things you need to buy!! - I'm still wearing them...
- Clean windows in these rooms
- Check house for places where draughts are getting in.. doors, windows etc and see if there are ways to stop it!
clean out that airing cupboard!!!!!! get rid of those things you don't need.. use dead towels as cleaning cloths etc.. be ruthless!!!! you REALLY don't need that 'thing' you've saved for 10 years.. 'just in case' If you did this last week.. you can do the under the stairs cupboard!!!
I brought down a big bag of photos, and DD (home feeling poorly) and I have been going through them, and choosing some to put in the frames I was given last Christmas. So imagine the laughs and giggles and cooing over the baby and littlies photos in there! Now all I have to do is clear a windowsill to put the frames on...
I have to blitz the bathroom tomorrow, and I'm hoping for a quick trip to the allotment before I go over to visit mum in the afternoon. The children will be doing their rooms on Saturday.:D
Now I feel like doing some knitting - I haven't done any for a few years, but recently read a couple of books about a woman who opened a wool shop and ran knitting classes, and then looked at the knitting thread on here, and pigpen's posts, and I have itchy fingers! Well, if I dig out the half finished jumper from my bedroom, I can count that as tidying as well!
(((to those who need one)))

Cheers gunsandbanjos I kinda thought that myself! But it's nice to hear it too!0
