How long has this been going on for gunsandbanjos? It might be worth a ring to the local council - unless it's them making the racket in the first place. If it's a continual disturbance then you can ask them to investigate.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Don't feel guilty LJD - I'm just catching up from everything I couldn't do earlier in the week......and to stop myself from feeling guiltyI'd rather be watching CSI!0

Hello :hello:
Haven't posted on the old style boards for a while. I've recently come out of hospital after a operation and I am finally starting to do little bits around the house (mainly tidying).
I normally do all my cleaning on a saturday while DS is out with my ex (which takes a couple of hours) However I'm not fully fit yet so wont be able to do that for a few weeks and wondered if I can join you lovely people on here until I can get back into my old routine??
I also need that bit of motivation as well
Obviously I won't start properly until next week. See you all then.

Not too long thank goodness, think it might be the council doing the work
I thought they werent allowed to start before 8am though?? The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I have done not a lot today. Hoover is out in lounge (been there since 10am and still not used it). I have roasted a chicken, cooked sausage rolls, popcorn chicken and made bread rolls (currently in oven) - parents evening so bit of a dash tonight. Pick DD1 up home then swimming at 5 so will get home about 6 and parent evening apt at 6.20. So will be picnic tea. But other than that I have done nothing.
I am having a wobbly day today where I feel crap about myself (probably because of all the chocolate i scoffed last night). So righting today off and will crack on tomorrow as I am sure I will feel better.
Hugs to all that need them.0
