Found a much cheaper car

    You dont have to sign a contract to agree with it. You paid that formed a contract.

    Only you know what was agreed and what if anything was signed. I fear with a dealership last year where we paid a 500 holding deposit but was clear at the time of paying it that the amount was refundable on change of mind.

    Nothing was signed, that!!!8217;s the issue. It!!!8217;s £500 of my cars and a receipt for !!!8220;deposit!!!8221; for a car that!!!8217;s not ordered nor finance.

    To get the finance quote sorted.... and I’ve been to another garage and it’s been refundable.

    It was deposit, plain and simple. Not all garages have complete non-refundable deposits.
