    Ionafan hope migraine eases soon.

Frog booted out for now, email and declaration sent to insurance company but I have a horrid feeling this is going to get very messy, a huge giant ugly CRAPaud!

    WU done
    DW emptied and reloaded
    Kitchen surfaces and table wiped
Bins back in and recycling out

Going to reward myself with a coffee and put WM on whilst kettle boils

    xx

Morning all from a broken and aching Dizzy...I hate gardening. What's even worse is that four hours on, the whole area still isn't cleared - it's only half mown and has numerous mountainous haystacks needing clearing, as the grassbox was filling up every 25 seconds and causing the mower to conk out.

But, it is raining today :j

Never thought I be happy to see water falling out of the sky...obviously can't do any gardening today...

Ooh, and it's my wedding anniversary today. Five years of married *ahem* bliss. :rotfl: DH done good - flowers, gin and a slushy card, so he thinks he's on a promise...

I've booked us dinner at a local restaurant.

Ooh, and, yesterday I was quoted £1000K less for my house insurance this year  including flood cover!!!

    Happy flying ladies xxx

    Happy Anniversary, Dizzy.
Hope your migraine is easing, Iona

Morning all. Rain here too, so the last washload from yesterday is on the airer and I'll just water the plants in the greenhouse later. So glad I got the grass cut yesterday.

Today I have done paid stuff, walked the dogs and that is about it. No real plans so will tackle the lists until next shift.
Spend less now, work less later.

Bagless thingy cleaned out, and boy did it need it...............
2 kids playhouses that I power washed yesterday, now reassembled and in garden, with the cat sleeping inside one of them!
Bank now finally sorted out another 48 mins of my time wasted, even they had problems accessing the transactions as they couldn't find them on the system!!
    Eaten.
Spread sheet of spending updated, and re checked for April and May, did I really spend that much! but my flight didn't help.
    Kitchen is sorted
    Toilets bleached.

Dizzy, why not mow the grass without the grass box for the first couple of cuts, yes it means you will have to rake up, but I think it will be easier.

Here we go - another $0&&!n* lupus flare.

So - this morning my hair needs washing.
We also have to go to town to collect Mr LW's meds.
Hair postponed til tomorrow as there's no way I can do both the above without knocking myself into Wednesday week.

Mr LW kindly threw the Dys0n round the bungalow yesterday; I took Honey out to the back garden to keep her out of the way, and between us (like she was so helpful) we shifted a bucketful of weeds and other general garden detritus.

And we're on the jolly old NHS merry-go-round to try and organise a neurology appointment for Mr LW. This could be a long haul, methinks. :(

LW sorry you're suffering, hair can definitely wait. Look after yourself.

Ironing basket emptied whilst watching tennis, underwear also all sorted and put away, tennis not finished and very exciting so have the TV on in the kitchen and am popping in and out to keep an eye on it and am now having a quick cup of tea.

Very happy as insurance has just sent letter saying it will refund money taken out of daughters account when she had her bag stolen, bank had refused as the pin code was used.

It sure can; I hate having grotty hair (it's waist-length and goes like rats' tails) but there was no way I'd have done it today. Mr LW will help me with it tomorrow. :A

The important tasks are done; meds collected, Honey Dog's rice and veg (carrots, broccoli and peas) for her tea cooked, and sausages and spuds for our sausage salad cooked.

I have to cook rice and veg for Honey each day, and add a portion of chicken, which is thankfully bagged up in meal-size bags and frozen, plus a small handful of kibble. I reckon she eats better than us!! :D But her Mum said when she came for her Meet'n'Greet visit that she's spoilt. :o

  • Went to bed last night just after I posted ^^^^^ because I was plagued by painful leg muscles. Was asleep within minutes, woke up after a while because they were still hurting, realised Himself was actually in bed and went straight back to sleep for another nine hours.

They still hurt. As soon as I woke up, I decided that I was not going to Himself's gig tonight, so I've stuffed my face with crud bought from the corner shop on the walk home and will be going to bed again as soon as is humanly possible.

Went to work, snarled at a passive aggressive missive from on high, which seemed to be more about how I'd answered an email query as though I actually knew what I was doing rather than playing dumb and letting them claim credit for everything, 'cos I'm stoopid like that and would have to be instructed/managed.

<snipped out large moan about how I'm too slow/too fast to make decisions/too passive/too proactive/not proactive enough/overstep the mark in using my own initiative/don't use my own initiative/etc/etc>

I know for a fact that they actually need me. I was off until this time last year with a massive flare and hardly anything was done/achieved/things were cancelled because they couldn't do them without me. The staff turnover/attrition rate is so bad, I'm needed more than ever as a result.

Now, they could leave me alone because I know what I'm doing, or they could irritate me until I exercise the terms of my contract. I only have to give 4 weeks' notice. Which could be in mid August, depending on whether some short term work pans out for me and turns into permanent.

i really am getting too old for this ****.

Working tomorrow - for a mate who has a big gig - and attending his gig the next day with ear filters in, because it's really not a type of music I have any interest in. But it avoids me cleaning the damn house again (yup, there's stuff from Himself's trip all over the kitchen, for a start and no vacuuming has been done because of his delicate constitution. Again.)

So not all bad. Especially if he stays at a mate's overnight, so I don't have to deal with it or him for a day.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
