Dolly's Dream Funds.........

So I am back and have some new savings goals.

I am now a single pringle so it will take me longer to get were I want to be but I will be as proud as punch when I do.

So I am going to fill up my savings account 1% at a time to hit this goal.

It is probably going to take me years to get there but it's not about the time it takes it's about keeping the focus.

    Emergency Fund
    £70/£7000
    1% saved

This is to put aside just incase I ever end up out of work, if that doesn't happen then it can be put towards retirement fund!

Same as the EF, this will take a while to fill up but when I have it means I will be prepared for the unexpected car repairs, bills etc.

Going to London in September with a friend for her 40th birthday, hoping I won't need the full £500 but I might if I include train fairs etc.

    London 2018
    £300/£500
    60% Saved

Off on a girls trip next year so need to pay just over £500 flights, accommodation etc and around £500 to spend which again I am hoping not to spend!

    Majorca 2019
    £10/£1000
    1% Saved

Still £1200 to save for all of this, will add to it as and when I can.

  • Okay so similar to the EF I am going to set this money aside for car repairs, unexpected bills etc.

1% at a time so every £10 will get marked off on my savings log!
