How would you like to resolve this issue?
I have not posted the item and I would like to refund the payment.I can provide proof that the item was posted through an approved postal service to the address on the Transaction Details page.
What information can you provide? What information can you provide?I can provide online tracking information for delivery through an approved postal service to the address on the Transaction Details page.I can upload or fax proof that the item was posted through an approved postal service to the address on the Transaction Details page.
I have refunded the payment for this transaction.None of these apply to me.
I am not sure how to proceed, do I send a letter recorded or something else?
Any advice welcome as I've never had this before and it's all new to me.
Unfortunately buyer has you caught, all you can do is refund to avoid paypal taking the £14 dispute fee. I am not aware that anyone has won a not authorised claim in paypal without proof of postage to the registered postal address. It is too late now to send anything as it will show as post dating the day the dispute was open.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Sounds like your buyers account has been hacked.
When this happened to me, eBay deleted all signs of the transaction, fortunately the item was not posted yet.
That was lucky you hadn't posted the item yet. Good job.
Unfortunately for me I sent it by ebay message already and I'm guessing they used it now, I am not able to check. As it was due to expire yesterday at midnight.0 -
So if I select I've not posted it and want to refund then I won't need to pay the £14 refund fee?0

The fee is from Paypal for the reversal. You could try ringing them and asking them to "kindly waive it". They generally do, but it's not a done deal.0
