TSB Interest Increased??
Comments
-
My two accounts had the £500 paid in on [STRIKE]2nd[/STRIKE]3rd May no interest has been paid on either.
My wifes two accounts had £500 credited to them on 8th May both have had £6.23 interest paid.
All accounts have online statements and correspondence set.
Perhaps their system is not recognizing credits that were made in the first few days of May?
Edit: On rechecking my credits were on the 3rd May the same day as YBs0 -

My account was credited with £500 on 1 May and I received £6.21 interest on 1 June.0 -

This is interesting. On the one account I'd credited £500 on 3rd, interest's not been paid. On the others which had £500 on 2nd it has.
Do you reckon TSB turned something off on Thursday 3rd as it's not recognising the pay-in has been met on this day?0 -

You're right, it was Thursday. I was looking at 3rd June. I was referring to 3rd May though so it definitely seems that that's the problem date.0 -

Just toying with the idea of reverse sweeping the SOs mid-month as well as the 3rd. Nothing to lose except the time taken to set them up. But I wouldn't want to miss out on another month's interest...and not be able to call up to query it!0 -

My standing order is for the 1st of the month so for May it went in on the 1st so no connection there.
I think it is a random error that they will rectify as and when it is brought to their attention, they are reacting to problems when they crop up and don't seem to be running tests to see if they can find them.
The latest one for us is, my wife is trying to switch back to paperless statements and instead of being sent a "one time password" is being put through to a call centre who are not aware that this is happening. If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you!0 -
£6.23 and........£6.17 for me :-00
