I was wondering what had happened to the fragrant Ms Ledson. It was either her or her department who told Parking Prankster they had reported him to the police. When he asked for the crime number, answer came there none.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

just had the following reply from HX Car Park Management - are they talking borrox.
Images are stored and then sent through to our office when contraventions occur to be manually checked by our staff before being sent through to the DVLA or voided. Any images where vehicles have not contravened are purged from the cameras prior to being sent to us therefore we do not see these or have access to them.

As already advised, we do not make automated decisions. What you are referring to are internal processes which have been set by management, and not automated decisions. Any decisions relating to the issuing of PCNs or when they are passed to debt recovery to begin litigation proceedings, are manual processes implemented by staff and are not automated.

According to them no images except contravention, and no auto processing - isn't the camera autodecisioning contraventions. This is getting a bit technical now.

She's a Mrs. Married to Martin Ledson, who I think is the same Martin Ledson who is the town centre manager for Trafford Town Council.

    Her maiden name is Hardie.

sorry missed this bit, Police, Taxation exemption - Cobblers

They must get their advice about DPA from the same bit of the internet that says you can ignore the invoices

Not sure I understand the reference to 'Invoices' what are you referring to?
Police taxation exemption? not sure what you refer to - but at a guess - I didn't make myself clear, I queried if they kept pics for that reason as per Parking Eye, they are saying NO images kept unless there is a contravention. ie.
ANPR - Take a photo of arrival, take a photo of exit, - everything ok - delete; only keep the image if there is an infringement, which is then passed for manual checking with the company, prior to that they see nothing. This also means there is no crime prevention use of the ANPR possible.

Yes.. if the camera only send them photos when a contravention has happened then there must be an automated decision made as too whether to purge the photos.

Therefore the (1) taking of the photos and then the subsequent (2) deletion, ("purging") or passing to head office are TWO automated processes.

This is a point I'm trying to get clarified by the ICO against the DVLA. DVLA are saying that just because a process is automated (i.e KADOE), it doesn't make it a 'solely automated decision-making process' as described in GDPR.

I will try & explain - the request for money from the scammers is an invoice not a fine.

There are a great many people who find there way to this forum because they read on Internet that you can ignore them, which is way out of date.

Re Crime & Taxation exemption. If you require personal information to investigate then you can be exempt certain provisions of the Act.

Suffice to say ANPR within a private parking situation does not arise, unless some one can dream up a crime?

ANPR, but far more likely CCTY pointed at a car filling up with petrol, then doing a runner would fall under the crime exemption - theft

The exemption is mainly used by the Police, HMRC, shops for theft, investigating fraud & certain organisations that may or may not exist
Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA :D

That's what I thought - so what does that mean they have to disclose? The process itself?

They also deny other data feeds - which is also borrox - cos there MUST be a feed between the machine and the camera to determine whether there has been an offence.
