Good area to move into in Peterborough

Options
Hi All,

My new job is in Cambridge town so I have decided to move to Peterborough with family (wife and 2 kids).

I just know that its multi-cultural city which I do like and feel comfortable to fit into it. Also there is a train to Cambridge which taken an hour, its hell expensive but have to do it there is no other option.

I want to know which areas I should move into in Peterborough which is suitable for family as I have kids (3yo and 1yo).

I will rent out the house and want it to be somewhere closer to train station and suitable for nearby schooling as well.

Many thanks.

I wish I could consider other areas but after having a careful look into the rates and journey times below is my conclusion.

Ely: House Rent £850 (average) + £100 travel costs = £950 (average) per month
Cambridge: House Rent £1000 - £1300 + no travel costs = £1150 (average) per month
Peterborough: House Rent £750 (average) + £300 travel costs = £1050 (average) per month

It all comes to the same cost, around £1000. Because I have a Pakistani origin so I thought I may get on easily in multi cultural city of Peterborough.

    Hope you understand.

    Any suggestions?
