The week started well, but two consecutive 'team building' lunches means I've only managed 3 this week

Hi
Is it too late to join?
I've just got back from holiday and I'd lost my money saving mojo a little before I left, but I'm feeling focused at the moment.
Could you put me down for 10 days?0 -

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

My lunches have been salad based so far:
Monday: chicken & salad
Tuesday: egg & salad
Today: tuna, onion, sweetcorn and may salad
I'm helped by the fact that my son is home from Uni and is working at my employer for the next 12 weeks. It's keeping me on the straight and narrow.0 -
Yet more broccoli soup, and slightly stale bread to toast plus a couple of satsumas
Didn't go in yesterday so I'm not going to make my full 13, although I didn't buy lunch so not sure if it counts?
I also must have miscounted or not posted one day, as my last count is 6/13 but today is definitely the 8th - should be the 9th!

Just for a huge change today, I'm having .... broccoli soup :rotfl::rotfl:. I'd forgotten how much i made!

I finished the week off with:
Thursday: Tuna, onion, sweetcorn and mayo salad (this is getting to be a favourite)
Friday: Fritatta
5/5 so far..I'm impressed0 -
this thread sounds like a really good idea. Does anyone have any links to options for work lunches ? sometimes I take just fruit and by the time I come home I'm starving and eat anything.
I usually take tins of soup but this can get a bit boring. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks Scott Chegg
