I've used the machine to deposit a cheque before, but never cash.
Do you put all the notes in together and then it counts them and the total, or do you have to enter the notes separately?

You can pay in multiple notes at the same time - it will say on the machine how many you can pay in, in one goJust trying to make up for past mistakes and work towards the future I want :hello:0

All sorted so they are the right way up and max 10 (or so).
And if the machine goes wrong they lock the door (out) and you have to stay there while they open the machine and check it!0 -

you should try the halifax app for the next one, you get cleared funds the next day
The app for paying in cheques only works if the cheque is drawn on a bank that also uses the updated cheque clearing system. I tried to pay in a NatWest cheque using the Halifax app and it failed. I can't remember the exact wording of the error message, but what it amounted to was that NatWest don't support it.0 -
More likely to be 100 notes max, no need to face the same way or in separate denominations, the machine will sort them when counting. No clips, staples or rubber bands of course. Any notes too folded or unacceptable condition, duds etc, will be returned.
Don't know about the Halifax ones, but the ones at Lloyds are max 50 notes.0
