Lloyds Bank employee says to 16 year old boy, " OK Sharon if you just sign this form we will process the paperwork and open your account"

Well clearly it's the son that has inconvenienced the most as he didnt get the bank account he applied for and strangely once the mistake was spotted and rectified still didn't get the account and went across town to Barclays instead whilst Mum has had to open two letters saying sorry we've made a mistake here's £300- not bad for a days work.

Well Jim, you can be a little less worried now that parent has their £300 and child has his bank account. I know you feel the child should have had half, but hey ho, such is life.0 -

Anyhows I spent 1 hour 30 minutes on the phone trying to sort it out when I first got the card, plus had searches and accounts on my credit file, plus a further 2 telephone calls with Lloyds.
So it may not warrant £300 compensation but it was more than opening 2 letters....0 -
