    Oh, OK.
So I have no other option than to cough up their over inflated invoice now?

    Stop, please stop.

Come on, no-one PAYS Britannia and no-one asks if paying is an option or they get short shrift:

    Enough defeatist stuff, please.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

!!!!!! look here at your odds of them taking you to court, why pay a scam:

Do you really think that their couple of punts in court were for a piddling little claim like yours?
  • Hello again. I've had the usual letters, emails and now threats from some legal company to take me to court. CCJ's unless I pay £240.
Is it a case of paying up?
    Thanks.

I'm not sure how many different ways of saying no there are?

some legal company to take me to court.
Which legal company? Was it a proper LOC/LBC/LBA/LBCCC giving you 30 days to pay or respond and including financial forms (which you NEVER fill in) or was it, as Waamo above suspects, just a letter from a debt collector? When you get a LOC go to NEWBIES section post # 2.
  • BW Legal. Notice Of County Court Claim issued. Which I will shortly receive from Northampton County Court. Unless I pay by 26th Feb.
