Well done , VCS lose again
Another one bites the dust !!
You normally give them payment details , like bank details , but expect a cheque in the post , or you will go for enforcement , by a warrant of control2 -
Well done. You can celebrate now.
Bad start to the week for VCS.

Great stuff, especially for the Liverpool Business Park where VCS have the persuasive VCS v Ward appeal court judgment in their pocket. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

At the hearing the judge awarded costs and gave them 2 weeks to pay. Its been 16 days since. We never gave any details and assumed cheque would come by post. Whats the done thing in this situation?0

7-day warning letter to them, then Warrant of Control via the court. Will cost you £100 (I think - check it out), with that cost then added to the VCS bill. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Email them giving 7 days to pay their debt in full or you will instruct bailiffs who will either collect the debt or take goods. You will need to ask the court about bailiff service during lockdown1 -

You could, of course, contact Debt Recovery Plus and see if they'll take on the collection - they operate on a no-win, no-fee basis. 😜Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
