So I sent the template on the newbies thread as my appeal and have received an email back saying they won't process the appeal unless I give the name and address of the person driving at the time. Of course that would defeat the objective so do I leave it at that?
Do I send anything regarding them not replying by post as requested?

Ignore their request for the driver's details.

You could of course complain to the DVLA that they are refusing to accept an appeal from the Registered Keeper.

^^ +1 ^^ definitely as above. Complain to the DVLA, because complaining to their ATA (the IPC) is utterly futile.

Ask the DVLA to report back on their findings and what they are going to do about them. Explain why the IPC will only ever back their member; there is no record of any assistance being offered to the motorist.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If they are trying to do you under bye-laws then invite them to take you to court where you will ask them to explain to the judge why the money raised under bye-laws is being kept by the PPC scum as opposed to going into the court system [where bye-laws fines/penalties should go]??

TD comes up with these suggestions because he's rich! Easy to risk other people's money.

I am not Rich, but I am comfortably off. I am in this fortunate position because I am prepared to take risks with my money.

Having said that I have just taken a loss on my Spanish flat of over £K100.

Is it also worth a complaint to the relevant body for denying a subject access request?

Most definitely. They can get a hefty fine.
