Insurance after TT99

  • So a few years ago i caught without insurance, twice in 6 months. Picked up two IN10s, 12 points, big fines and a 6 month ban.

After I served it, I got my license back and with it came a new TT99.

I shopped around for insurance and 1st Capital were the cheapest for me. for the last two years GoSkippy have been cheaper so gone with them.

When it comes to declaring your endorsements, you do not need to declare anything other than the TT99 - the insurance company told me this after i declared both IN10s and the TT99.

But be prepared to pay for insurance - my first year was almost £900 - my old insurance was down to £200 before i let my payments slip

    DECLARE EVERYTHING.

They'll ask for your licence number anyway, and only a fool trying to hide something would refuse. That allows them to confirm what you've told them.

If you tell them what they don't need to know, then the premium won't change.

If you don't tell them what they do need to know, then all hell could land on you when they find out. And they will.

Well, at least he didn't spread his utterly abysmal suggestion any wider, then... Still needs stamping on, in case some poor fool actually follows it.
