0.7% "cashback" without Amex?

Don't think you can pay the Amazon card using the Asda card as they don't allow you to pay them off with another credit card. You can do it the other way round though, make the purchase with the Asda card then clear it with the Amazon card. I've not got 1 so not 100% on this.
Nearly sure Amex cannot be cleared using another credit card.If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

How did you that ??
Did you pay the amazon Masterdard using Asda Creditcards. How did you do purchase using creditcard 16 digit number ??
This was about paying Asda credit card with Amazon Newday credit card. ASDA card payment permits you to enter credit card details to make payment. Once payment was showing on Amazon Newday card, I queried with Amazon Newday card customer service whether it was cash advance or purchase and they confirmed it was purchase.0 -

Just in case anyone isn't clear, the way you do this is by logging into your Asda account "MAKE A PAYMENT" stay away from balance transfer, normally a credit card will let you make a payment online with a debit card, Creation however let you pay with another credit card (it can't be another Creation card and it can't be Amex) by entering your card details. I don't believe any other card issuer allows this though I may be wrong.
Nice 1.5% cashback rate on Asda shopping (2.5% if you have the plus card but you have to be a very big Asda spender for that to be worth it now)If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.

Thanks appreciate that. So in this case, you will earn cash back twice first with ASDA up to 1% for ASDA purchase and 0.2% everywhere. and then for the same spending get cashback again with with AMAZON Newday Creditcard 1.5 Amazon Reward Points per £2 spent. Am I understand it correctly ??
Also is Amaxon NEwday CC is the same with AMAZon platinum as explained here ?

yes, it definitely works. i did this for several months, but scrapped Asda card as so few places don't accept Amex it wasn't worth the bother. it's a neat double up though, that was being kept quiet

Besides, it's not pure cashback as we are talking about ASDA here - Walmart del Ingl!s.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
