Latecomer to the party - missed appeal stage pps

Having not known about the services mse provides I have only just seen the newbies thread regarding the parking charges from a PPC.
The first letter was ignored and have now received a reminder notice and higher charge from Premier parking solutions.
They are charging us for delayed payment. We pay for all day parking, every weekday but on this day payment, which is done by a parking app was done later than normal.
My argument is that we have not paid less for parking in there, we paid for all day. Therefore we don't owe them any money.
My question is what happens now as we haven't appealed at the first letter stage.
I have read the newbies thread and have absorbed as much as I can but I admit to not fully understanding the full process.
Thank you

if you missed the appeal window then there is little that can be done other than a complaint to the landowner or M.A. , but you may want to use the template and appeal anyway - regardless of the outcome
the PPC have 6 years to try a court claim, so keep any proof of payment and photograph it too , keep ALL paperwork for 6 years
come back if you get a formal LBC or an MCOL in the post within 6 years0 -
good advice above .....
this will give you a bit of info as to what you are up against

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.
These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.

Hi,
I have received a notice before action letter. forgive the stupid question but is that the same as an LBA?
Am I correct in thinking this shouldn't be ignored?
Thank you0 -
It is.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Help us with further detail... for a start... who has sent it?
What does it say?0 -
Sorry, I didn't see your reply here.
It's from Premier Parking Solutions.
We have written to you on 2 previous occasions requesting the payment of the charge. We wish to. Inform you that if full payment as stated above is not received within 14 days of the date of this letter we may pass this debt to our legal department for consideration to begin proceedings in the County Court.
This could lead to a. County Court judgement being issued against you which, if not satisfies, would adversely affect your credit rating and ability to gain credit In the future.
This parking charge needs to be paid along with the additional administration fees of £30.
Please.note we have obtained the name and address of the registered keeper of the vehicle from. The dvla for the purposes of enforcing this unpaid charge.
It also said we are unable to appeal at this stage, which I knew. Thanks0 -
That's not a LBA.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Feel free to edit your thread title if you now think it should be something different.Sweetthang wrote: »I was unsure if my new post on my other thread would be read as the title was not relevant to my query.0 -
Highly unlikely they would start a court claim for this here's their record so far:
