            TA
I am so glad Mr TA is managing small meals fairly often.
 Redruby
I am shocked by what happened and hope better measures can be put in place. It must have been an awful shock for you all.
Youngest dd and middle dd came round last night and stayed over for a girlie evening watching tv etc. I made a huge shepherd's pie and we enjoyed it as the weather had turned wet and miserable. Middle dd left this morning as she flies off for work tomorrow and youngest has gone to stay with a friend and plans to come back and stay over tomorrow. Older dd just phoned and is popping in tomorrow afternoon with her husband and in laws for a cup of tea and a chat so will scurry round and do a quick tidy.
Planning a leisurely evening on my own and watching NCIS with my feet up. DDs have remembered it would have been our wedding anniversary tomorrow which is sweet of them.
 Hugs to all0

Redruby ye gods and little fishes; are there no protocols in place to ensure your safety at work? That sounds really, really scary.
Oh, regarding "clean dogs" I saw a brilliant greetings card while we were away - it featured a C0cker Spaniel, and the wording was:
 "I came....
 I sniffed....
 I rolled in it."
 :rotfl:
That's brilliant and is our lovely but often stinky cocker to a T :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

            Evening folks,
 Happy birthday I love comps.
Judi......you do way and above your bit for your DD, Grumps was quite right to have a go, overnights should be in emergencies only. Sorry if I seem harsh but none of my children would expect me to do half as much as you do.......I love my children and grandchildren dearly but I am not their slave. I should mind my own business so forgive me.
Its been overcast here for most of the day, quite warm. We had roast lamb for dinner with roast veg and potatoes, finished off with cake and homemade cookies, courtesy of DGDs 1 and 3.....very nice but highly calorific!
DD2, DSs 2 and 3 are watching soccer on tv......I find it particularly boring having just watched a rugby match, so think that I will head for bed before I offend anyone else.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, especially you Ruby, that was some experience!

Judi maybe Grump should see what happens at home when he is away - grandkids need feeding if you are minding them, Prodigal & Eldest & Youngest need to be fed too xx2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇
