Faulty Windows - Company appears to be in liquidation

I am not really too sure where or who to ask for help on this one so I am hoping you lovely lot may be able to put me into the right direct.
We had our sash windows replaced (some repaired), our house is Grade 2* so we were limited as to who we could have done the work.
The windows were brought in Oct 2013 and fitting in subsequent months after (large job). Come March 2018 and we noticed that some of the window panes were breaking down and had a misty 'hue' in them, each window has 16 panes, some windows have only 1 but there are up for 5 panes in some windows and most windows appear to have an issue.
We got in contact with the company joineryworkshop.com who acknowledged they were still in their 5 year warranty, gave us a complaint number and said they would discuss it in their next production meeting the following Tuesday. This was back in March, we have been chasing but have not been able to get a reply since their last email saying this. We have been phoning and emailing but nothing. Looking on companychecker now it looks like they have done into liquidation.
Is there anything we can do/should be doing?
As far as I can remember we paid via debit card/bank transfer but I can't quiet remember and I've been trying to go through old bank statements but I haven't yet found it.
I have looked at the Ombudsman website but since they were purchased via Jan 2015 it doesn't seem applicable.

If they are individual double glazed units, then any local glazing company should be able to make up replacements, without replacing all the frames. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
They a specialist slimline double glazed panes to fit into wooden sash window. I am sure we could find someone else who would repair them but I am wondering how if possible we could be re-cope the costs, can we get the company to pay out? Ideally we want them just to fix them but if they have gone into liquidation I doubt it.
We can't afford to pay ourselves again right as they cost us a small fortune the first time.Comping twitter @mrsegg10 -
Do you have any warranty paperwork?
If so, have a look at this to see if it's insurance backed. This means that the insurance policy is guaranteed by a 3rd party insurance company.
If it's not and you did pay wholly by debit card or bank transfer then with the company being liquidated, then you will have no chance of getting anything from your bank or the installers.
Your only hope will be if you paid some of it on a credit card (even if this was only a small deposit) as you can then hold the credit suppliers liable.0 -
I feared this may be the case, I will have to dig out the paperwork for the warranty when I get home.
I can't remember if the deposit was paid by credit card, I have requested my statements from that year as they don't go that far back online.
Thanks for your helpComping twitter @mrsegg10 -
Trouble is that sometimes the Warranty on replacement windows is for 10 years for the frames and just 1 or 2 years for the glazed units!
Our new build had four panels break down in just 3 years which we had to pay for replacements.
But our house in France has had no problems with units in 11 years!0
