Childcare vouchers - can monthly amount be increased after Oct 2018?

One of my children is about to finish nursery ahead of starting school in September. I have been using childcare vouchers as part-payment for the nursery fees so am enrolled for this.
My other child is only 1 years old and we probably wouldn't put him into nursery until he gets some free hours at 3 years old - and possibly only at a cheaper nursery that is more convenient for the school run for just the free hours. Therefore it is unclear whether we will actually pay fees at nursery for him and I don't want to keep accruing childcare vouchers that we may never use.
Tax fee childcare will be worse for us and so I am keen to keep the childcare voucher option for the future if possible. Therefore I am wondering can I flex down my childcare vouchers to £1/month (which I think is the minimum) to retain my eligibility for them and then, if they do become useful in future for nursery fees depending on what we do with the younger one, flex them back up to the maximum? I've looked online but haven't been able to find the answer anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

minimum voucher amount is £20 very few employers let it go lower.
But you can raise or lower your voucher amount each month as long as you do it before their cut off (they can tell your or the voucher company can).
October, you just need to be taking a voucher each month, no stopping.
You may be aware that your vouchers are valid until the September after your youngest 15th Birthday (16 if disabled)
buy now save them for later, they are not just for nursery / childminders.Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
Also remember that the vouchers can be used for after school clubs and holiday clubs (including residential programs like PGL) once your children reach school age.0
