Say no, I agree with you, Little one is in bed by 6:30 every night and usually sleeps until 6:30/7am, going to bed later just means less sleep, not later morning. He's usually very good, but is drinking lots and lots of water as it's so hot and his nappy can't cope.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

My son was a nightmare when he was small. Slept all day when I was working and my mother was looking after him and wouldn't go to sleep at night. 10,30pm - 11.00pm before he went to bed, if I was lucky. Woke up during the night wanting to play and was bright as a button at 5.00am. When he got into his teens we couldn't get him out of bed. They are all different, as they should be but it's not easy. at the time.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Brilliant on car boot again. You have knocked that £300 target right out of the park. Just read through your diary, you're doing brilliantly! And sound so organised!
Well done on the carboot sale, always gives you a big lift when you have a result like that0 -
Good morning guys
Another amazing day.
Thank you so much to everybody that has dropped by to say hi.
wishingthemortgaheaway - The weather should calm down soon, it really cannot continue being so nice after all we do live in the UK! Then everything should go back to normal. When I read your comments it took me back in time, I can remember getting the kids out of bed in a morning and sometimes there nappy would weigh an absolute ton because they had drunk so much the day before.
LullaBelle - Thank you for dropping by. I am so happy if what I am doing may help other people. I always feel that the worst bit about doing a car boot sale is the thinking about it. However once you get over that and get sorted it is ok. It is great when you come home with a few bits and a tub full of cash.
Toni'sfriend - Thanks for visiting. My son is the same he loves his bed. I think all teen boys are the same in that. It makes me laugh as they can sleep for the world then when they get up they walk around the house like they have no energy, what is that about?
enthusiasticsaver - Thanks for dropping in. I cannot believe I have smashed my £300 extra income already. I am made up with myself if I am honest. My car tax is due at the end of the month which is £140. So I have decided to pay that with some of the car boot sale money and put the rest int he bank to pay off CC4. In years gone by I would have put the car tax on my credit card but not this year. I want another month of not using those cards and then the habit will be broke.
lindez - Thanks for calling in. I love the PAD challenge. I feel that it keeps me focused on the debt as you revisit it each day but in a positive way. I know some of the payments have been small ones but it is heading in the right direction which I have never done before.
Gemsy81 - Thank you for your comments and reading my waffle. I would never have described myself as on organised person at all. However, once I started this thread somehow it has made me more accountable and organised, it is strange I know. I think it is something to do with I know other people may be reading this so I feel like I need to be more organised. In the sort few weeks of starting this thread it has made me be:
* more in control of my credit card accounts, including interest rates, payments, balance transfer offers.
* made me think about not using those cards which I have not done since I started this thread.
* Look at budgets, something I had never done before as I used to just spend and not think twice about it.
* Look at extra income. This is something I really would not have done. I have got to say I am enjoying doing it and the more I sell the more I want to sort out and declutter.
Right, I am off to work. At lunch time I am going to go and pay the car tax on the car then I cannot use that cash for anything else as it will be gone and a yearly bill will be paid without using any Credit Card.
Tea all sorted for tonight again, so the food budget is going very well. I was thinking last night, instead of going shopping on a Friday which I have always done. To change it and each week go one day later, as I think I will spend the same amount of money but over a period of a seven weeks you have dropped one weeks shopping. So this weeks food has got to last until Saturday which it will, then next week I will go on Sunday and see how it goes.
Any way I need to go as I have really waffled again today. Take care everybody and once again I really appreciate all your lovely comments and help.Extra Income May £290.92 June £498.00 July £145.61 Aug 2018 £142.68

Thanks Say no, heavy weight nappies are common in our house too.
Great idea to use the car boot money for the car tax, just remember to put the money aside each month from now until this time next year, then you've got the money ready for next year, it's about £11.66 a month. If it was me, I'd put £15 a month aside, then you'd have an 'extra' £40 to put towards something else or to treat yourself.
A few years ago I started doing this and within about 5 years I got everything I could into annual rather than monthly
Payments, including the council tax. Now, when I come to pay one of those annual bills, there is always a little left over in each pot (becuase I round up each month) that is either used as a treat or put towards the mortgage, it also means I'm protected from any price increases.
Have a good day.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

That is such a good idea. It got me thinking, next time I go into town I am going to go and buy those tins that you cannot get into without using a tin opener.
I was thinking about getting:
1 - Car tax
1 - Christmas
1 - Rainy Day / Emergency
1 - House insurance
As the bills come up this year I will have to find the cash to pay them but then next year as you say I will already have the cash to pay them.
Thank you for all your help.
I have had an ebay sale this morning with a profit of £8.80 after fees and postage. However, I noticed a glitch on M**npig from the darkside. So I decided to use the £8.80 to order some cards. This is going to save me a fortune. I ordered all my birthday cards for this year and next year, mothers day cards, fathers day cards and all my special christmas cards for this year and next year for £8. When I think I used to go into the card shop at Christmas and maybe pay about £50 for special christmas cards this is a bargain as I ordered two years worth of cards for £8.00.
I hate cards as I just feel they are a waste of money and just go into the bin. However, all the members of my family have always exchanged them and they seem to think I am a big grump when I have suggested stopping sending them.
Any way must dash, take care everybody.Extra Income May £290.92 June £498.00 July £145.61 Aug 2018 £142.68
