Your credit rating will not be affected win or lose, pay or not. You don't have a credit agreement with the parking company.

    :eek::eek:

If you lose in court, don't pay as directed by a judge,
then you get a CCJ it shows on your credit file.
Hence your credit rating is affected and lenders will see
it so loans, mortgages etc can be denied

It is not just valid credit agreements that attracts a CCJ

I didn't want to jump that far ahead at this stage. The op seems to be struggling enough with the simple stuff let alone explaining that to them.

OK, but we don't want to be telling people that their
credit rating will not be affected if they lose and don't pay

Many would just assume they can ignore everything
ending up with a default CCJ as we often see on here

So to confirm I need to send this one for my first appeal to NCP, appeal and dispute your purported 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny liability and consider the PCN an absolute disgrace and pure intimidation. .......

They normally reject this don’t they ?

Yes, send that blue template just as it is.

They may not reject it. Part of the reason to send the template unaltered is to send a message "I'm on MSE so will be fighting this".

The PPC way well file it in the 'too difficult' pile and allow the appeal.
But if not, it doesn't matter too much. It's on to PoPLA.

    What's wrong with 'Other'?

They won't be bothered with what is selected, unless it incriminates the driver.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
