ANPR Appeal

First off i have read through the newbies section and very well documented. just making sure the experts think i have a case.
I have recently been an "Invoice" from NCP car park, it says i was 27 minutes late from when i entered until when i left, i paid for the up to 4 hours, however if you factor in the grace periods of minimum of 10 minutes it should technically work out at 7 minutes. i have the choice to pay £60 now or in 14 days will rise to £100. being a sunday finding a parking space was busy so a tad unfair. i bought the ticket 5 minutes after i entered the car park.
Should i pay the £60 or do you think i have a chance, wanna make sure before i appeal.

We never encourage paying. The whole Newbies thread is how not to pay.0

I know, just never done something like this before, and worry about my credit rating being effected in anyway. I saw this while researching and got rejected with 17 minutes and mines 27?

Your credit rating will not be affected win or lose, pay or not. You don't have a credit agreement with the parking company.0

Okay thank you, i guess the worst that could happen if i dont appeal is the £100? i don't understand why they rip you off so much!! i understand charges for being late but £100 for 5 minutes is extensive! i will copy the template for the first appeal, reading the newbie thread and NEVER say the drivers name, is that correct? i shouldn't also send it right away, is that correct?0

Send it on day 260

Thanks, out of curiosity why do you send it on day 26, if not could you point me to where it explains in the newbie section
