  • Eurgh so on Sunday when I was driving home from work there was a bang and my passenger side window fell down inside my door!

Took it to a garage this morning and £150.00 to get the cable and the motor replaced. Will have to put that on the CC and worry about it next month.

    Sooooooo annoying!

Jeez, what a pain in the butt about the window. I bet you got a fright (and just as much of a fright at the cost!). At least it's fixable and you're safe.

:( boo to the damage and cost to repair, must have been a bit scary and glad you safe
  • Honestly not the best thing to happen when you're doing 50mph on the expressway out of Glasgow City Centre, could have caused a bloody mass pile up, was screaming!

Had someone from work in the car with me aswell cos I drop her off on a Sunday, laughing about it now though :p

Fixed now and safe and sound so that is the main thing.

  • Well payday was Friday and I'm already skint.

Had £150.00 to pay for the car last week which came out of my Disneyland Paris fund and I've been shopping way too much so had a MASSIVE credit card bill to pay this morning, I really need to change my ways with this or I'm going to find myself in debt again.

I've been a bit down and been shopping to cheer myself up which is just stupid really but what can you do eh.

I've got money there for the bills and I've added my £200 to my H2B so I'm glad that's still building up, got £2,200 in there now!

This month I will do better, I promise it to myself. I worked way to hard to get out of debt just to get back in it for stupid reasons.

Okay so I can feel myself losing control with the spending so I need to keep a better track of this, hence the post above.

Everything I spend on the CC is going to be tracked, feel like if I write it all down it will make me more accountable.

The purse will be left at home this week for sure, time to go cold turkey!

Aim is to get to 23.09.2019 before I need to use it, that's when I go to Disneyland Paris :j:j:j
