Good morning,
So I have been going back and forward with the idea of using all my savings to just get the debt as low as possible and today I decided to just do it.
Paid an extra £1769.96 to the BC and the total of my debt is now £659.78 :j:j:j
That realistically could be PIF next month, I am beyond happy.

That is awesome! It's always a scary decision to use all your savings to pay off debt, but if you can pay it in full next month and spend a couple of months building up your savings again, i think you'll be much happier!Sealed Pot Challenge 075
Pay off by Xmas 2019 #02 - target £10,0000 -
Thank you
Yeah that's the plan, as soon as the debt is paid off it is time to build up the savings, I just feel better getting rid of this debt ASAP rather than having money sitting in a bank account for really no purpose.
I cannot wait till payday already!

Morning all,
So still feeling good about my decision to pay the debt off with the savings, I am now only in debt of 3 figures!!!
Can't wait to set out my 2019 goals, the savings will take a little bit of a back burner until around August time because I have a hen do in Blackpool, a wedding in Paphos and my girlie holiday to save for! None of this spending will go on a CC at all.
I am also going to cancel my Barclaycard as soon as it is paid in full, will keep the Sainsburys CC but there is no need to have them both as they will only be used in future in real dire emergencies while I don't have savings or to pay for large purchases which I will pay straight away with savings just so I can get my Nectar points.
Anyhoo I'm in work so best go actually do some of what they pay me for!
