when those emails asking you to resubscribe stop arriving, some are wheedling, some are grovelling and the worst try to make it look as if you have a legal obligation to subscribe to their advertising. If I want to subscribe to your carp no doubt in time I will do so.:mad::mad:

Some are offering entrance to a prize draw to get you to subscribe. I can't wait for my inbox to be de cluttered. Has anyone read & agreed to the Instagram & facebook pop-ups about the new rules? I keep clicking later, but it say's I will be blocked from using them on the 25th if I don't agree. I haven't got the patience to read it all!GHolmesAdmin wrote: »when those emails asking you to resubscribe stop arriving, some are wheedling, some are grovelling and the worst try to make it look as if you have a legal obligation to subscribe to their advertising. The real pain are the ones that keep emailing you because you haven't clicked to resubscribe.0

I had one from AoL today. They asked me to consent to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The trouble is it is not obvious how you do it. I have been using AoL for several just for the email account. I am worried that if I don't find where you click to consent I may lose all my emails after May 25th.
Does anyone else here use AoL for their emails and is having the same problem?0 -
I got one today from a certain company that I won't name that was very frank and bordering on rude that was almost calling compers out! x2019 Wins

I got two this morning relating to the Maldives. I have absolutely no idea why they have my details as I have never received any newsletters previously and the Maldives are not somewhere I would register my interest! The best things in life are free.....0

..i'm just like roll on the 25th!0 -
In one way these emails have been good as I have had the chance to unsubscribe from loads I didn't even know I was subscribed to in the first place! Hopefully after the 25th, we won't get so many emails. I have only re-subscribed to companies I have interest in or run regular comps.:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
