Hi experts,
I don't quite understand how pay-as you go works... I have a friend coming from abroad for 2,3 months (not EU).
I bought the sim card for £1.-
My question is: if I top up £10.- to that sim card, can he use it for 2,3 months? I just want to top up once... (not sure if that £10, expires after 30 days?!)
He will just make and receive a few calls, no more than 40 minutes per month, and barely doesn't use internet on his phone. Will those £10.- be good for 3,4 months?

O2 PAYG rates are 3p a minute and don't expire as long as a call is made every few months0

Yes, I'm on the O2 PAYG Classic Tariff and the £10 I added in January is still going strong.

Im annoyed!
I bought the sim, put £10; I wanted the phone just to receive calls, and rarely call someone... and the first message they sent me is "make sure you use them before 01 Jul"?!
Why? They also texted me that I have 2gb of data?! I never requested that!!
What can I do?
I only want the phone to receive calls, and rarely make a call myself!!!; (I always call from my landline)
I thought with those £10, I could keep the line for at least 12 months!!
Thanks.0 -

I bought it from a shop...
I do not understand... is the sim card 'pay as you go' or 'bundle'? or I made a mistake when I topped up £10?
Do I need to buy a new sim card?0 -
I called them and they changed me to pay as you go!!!0
