Wood Sheet Cut to Size?

Anyone know where i can get a wooden board 188cm x 135cm 2cm thick, i can't get anything more than 4ft wide on Ebay/Amazon and other Woodcutter websites.
I have heard that Homebase cut wood to size in store but i'm not 100% sure yet it that is true.

Ah that is interesting so i'm betting that if that's the case then Homebase must do it if B&Q do, i live between both B&Q and HB so i'll be paying a visit next week.

Are you talking wood or sheet material?

If it!!!8217;s ply or mdf you!!!8217;re going to struggle with 20mm.

I wouldn't put a bet on it - it's been a long time since I've seen a decent timber selection and panel saw in a Homebase - maybe it's improved following the buy-out by that Australian company but it used to be mostly cushions and homewares.

I'd try B&Q first (and not all of them have a panel-saw), but you'll need to check your dimensions, you don't tend to get sheet timber products which are 20mm thick, the closest is normally 18mm thick for MDF, chipboard, plywood. The next thickness up is normally 24mm but I've never seen that in B&Q.

The standard size for sheet material is 2440x1220mm with 18mm, 22mm, or 24mm thickness (thinner & thicker boards available).

I doubt very much that you will find anyone that stocks larger sheets and will sell single quantities.
