    They probably changed them from green to red, or something, and failed to tell everyone. Perfect scam in a residential car park. Should be illegal.

    It's quite common im afraid, my hypothesis is it's all about getting people into the process, then frustrating them with the initial rejection in the hope they just pay up when the initial anger subsides ... seen it a few times I'm afraid.

    This OP seems intent on fighting it which is good. First port of call is the MA and the freeholder, you take no prisoners in your comms (after checking your lease) and round up as many people on the estate to do the same. It's effective ...

    Daniel san's thread is well worth reading, it's very long but he has been fighting PPCs in his residential car park for years and is now fighting a court claim and he is counter claiming.
