Coupon-Mad - It says 'Displayed on Dashboard or Windscreen' at the top of the sign, however the sign outside the house that the car was parked in front of just says 'Resident Permit Holders Only'.
The picture of the sign they have enlarged is actually on a different road than the one the car was parked in. Because of the road layout you can enter my road from both directions. I would enter one way and exit the other. The main sign on the road I lived was facing outwards on the way I exited, and smaller signs were placed after my parking spot. The only sign I would pass entering my road was (the one they have the enlarged picture of) on the road before mine.0 -
And are you saying the permit fell right down, or near the gearstick/centre and was visible?
Do you think the person who took the photo nudged the car so the permit fell?
Used to happen all the time before clamping was made illegal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

To comply with and make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that all persons living in or visiting the Demised Premises or using the Parking Space or any part of the Maintained Property shall comply with any Managers Regulations which may be in force from time to time
This is the point they will rely on but like all contracts, it has to be seen in the round. There has to be a purpose to the amended regulations for the benefits of the tenants and not to their detriment. So you have to put Devere to proof of why their operation is allowed to penalise the tenants rather than trespassers. The idea of these companies is to ward off trespass, not to leach on the tenants. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Coupon-mad - I would move the permit on the centre console in front of the gear stick when driving. You can't see the permit on the dash in their pictures (although there is a lot of reflection) so it would have been by the gear stick but still visible.
IamEmanresu - Yes, I am sure it would be relatively simple for a company supposedly working with and for the benefit of the tenants to create a database of owners vehicles, or at the very least cancel tickets when given in error.0 -
Good luck - you will need it with this factor that I hope you realise:

Coupon-mad - Thanks, I'm aware of the alleged 'special relationship'.
I'll let you know what happens at tomorrows 'conciliation appointment'.

Probably a bit late but this is a residents ManCo by the look of it

Some interesting stuff in there. Including a mission statement that might help!

Have you tried engaging with any of the resident directors to see if they will cancel at their end? Or indeed, seeing if your landlady can do something as, looks like, she should have a say0 -
maybe , at this mediation thing , you can point out that the permit was issued to the vehicle , and as such the parking Co knew this and should have walked past0

NeilCr - I tried to contact PQPML but was told everything was handled by Urban Owners Ltd, the managing agent. However they have been taken over by Warwick Estates.
I contacted Warwick Estates and 3 weeks later received a reply stating:
"PQPML contract DeVere Parking to patrol the car parks at Poole Quarter. You have “right of use” of your space, and therefore the patrols across the development and ticketing of vehicles parked without a permit is permitted.
We do not have the right to request that a parking charge is cancelled unfortunately. If you contest the charge, I would recommend that you contact DeVere directly."0 -
ok , at the date of the ticket , who where in charge Urban Owners Ltd,or Warwick Estates0
